ALPHA10X is hiring a VP, Business Development, to contribute to the success of the company.

The main responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Establish and activate the channel, winning joint pilots that are successfully developed into showcases.
  • Engage direct customers with the channel partner, cross-organizationally, top-down at the board and CXO-level, bottoms-up at the business and technology decision-maker level, strategically at the corp dev or M&A level, identifying, engaging, and winning over the key:

- Business decision-makers, CXO-level sponsors capable of signing the deal.

- Technical decision-makers, CTO/equivalent, capable of validating the AI.

- Corp dev/M&A segment specialists essential to a successful deal.

  • Lead/drive the sales process once the customer is engaged, winning over stakeholders, navigating the politics, managing internal technical, financial and analyst resources, and the client executives to win the deal.
  • Ensure smooth management of the due-diligence process.
  • Structure and lead/deal negotiation, producing a definitive agreement.

Education:

  • Preferably computer / data science undergrad, plus MBA

Knowledge & Skills:

  • You study your product intensively, and you understand it deeply.
  • You study your customer intensively, and you know what they need and why.
  • You are preemptive vis-à-vis objections. You know that objections are natural to the sales cycle and why people have them, and how to eliminate eight out of ten before they even occur.
  • You love complexity, you embrace it, never avoid it. You understand that AI is one of the most complex products to sell.
  • You are not a fast-talking individual with all the answers; you are there to help other very intelligent people just like yourself to find the solutions to their problems.▪You are sincere. You understand that sales is all psychology, people buy into other people, and highly intelligent people work with you because of who you are, your charisma, warmth and authenticity, your ability to listen as much as the informed exactness of your persuasive arguments.
  • You are precise with what you think, what you do, when you do it, and why you are doing it.
